Meet Adam Fazackerley, Service Desk Engineer at Seriun

Originally from Longridge, with family roots in Kilmarnock, Adam now lives with his family and enjoys regular trips back to Scotland, which he still considers home. Outside of work, he’s a keen vinyl collector, a fan of Scottish football, and partial to a plate of spicy wings.

His route into IT started in an unconventional way: by breaking a laptop. That moment sparked an interest that led him to complete a BTEC Level 3 and eventually take on a role as a Second Line Engineer at Convene IT.

Now part of the team at Seriun, Adam works as a Service Desk Engineer, helping clients stay productive by monitoring their infrastructure and offering direct support and advice. He’s currently working towards CompTIA A+, AZ-900 and MS-900 certifications to build on his skills.

He’s visited some fascinating places, including Chichén Itzá, and has a party trick that involves finishing a bottle of tonic wine to music without needing medical attention.

When asked how he’s settling in, he said:

“It’s welcoming here, and I feel a lot more accepted. There is always something to keep me busy!”

We’re excited to have Adam on board and can’t wait to see his party trick in person…
