Luke was born, raised and currently lives in Preston. Outside of work, he’s been learning Chinese and has already taken his first exam, showing the same curiosity and drive he brings to his role at Seriun.
He developed an interest in technology early on. After years of tinkering with computers, he jumped straight into IT after college, starting with an apprenticeship and building his career from there. Before joining Seriun, he worked as a Cloud Solutions Consultant at another MSP called String.
At Seriun, Luke works as a 3rd Line Engineer. He handles escalated issues from 2nd Line, supports colleagues and shares his knowledge across the team. He’s already earned an impressive list of certifications: MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104, AZ-305 and AI-102. He’s now aiming to pass AZ-700 and AZ-140 as part of his ongoing development.
Luke loves seafood and travel. His most memorable destination so far is Wenzhou in China. He also has a few unique claims to fame, including having a beer with David Guetta at a festival and being able to speak and read a bit of Chinese.
When asked how he feels about his new role, he said:
