Welcome James Stott, Our New Transformation Lead

We are absolutely delighted to welcome James Stott to the Seriun team as our new Transformation Lead.

James is Burnley born and bred and still proudly calls Burnley home. He is married to Tamsyn and together they have three children. Time away from work with family and friends is really important to James, whether that is enjoying meals out, heading off on days away or catching up with friends over a pub quiz.

Professionally, James brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as Head of Network Services and Cyber Security at Burnley College. He holds industry certifications including Microsoft Certified Teams Associate and several Microsoft Applied Skills credentials. He is currently working towards becoming a Microsoft Certified AI Business Professional, reflecting his enthusiasm for emerging technologies and the impact they can have on organisations.

James has always been fascinated by technology and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. For him, there is real satisfaction in improving day to day working life through technology, and the IT sector gives him the perfect platform to make a difference.

At Seriun, James’ role is varied and forward thinking. As Transformation Lead, he will focus on AI development, process improvement, and acting as a virtual CTO for our customers. His aim is to help businesses unlock the full potential of their technology and confidently future proof their operations.

Outside of work, James is a big football fan and a proud Newcastle United supporter. He enjoys family outings and never says no to a good burger and chips, especially a Double Whopper from Burger King. One of his most memorable adventures was travelling to South Africa at 19, where he experienced both a remote resort and the buzz of Johannesburg.

Speaking about his new role, James said:

“This role is an exciting opportunity to further develop the AI and IT strategy of businesses in our community and further afield. It is a great feeling to be a part of a growing organisation that seeks to help organisations get the most out of their technology.”

Welcome to the team, James. We are thrilled to have you on board.
